Dear esteemed readers of Sts. Alex & Henry Kirowooza Parish website. I introduce to you the seminarians of our Parish. These eleven enthusiastic young men are determined to live their future as priests of the Catholic Church in Masaka Diocese. They come from the six sub parishes that make up our parish. Each individual seminarian resides at his parents’ home during the holidays. They report to the parish every Wednesday and Saturday during school holidays. While at the parish, they do some voluntary work around the parish for example cleaning in and around Church, training altar servers, helping in the parish garden and cleaning the compound. They are also fully involved with other learners in Kirowooza Students’ Association (KIROSA), in the students’ choir. Their presence in the parish is to inspire vocations to priesthood and religious life. They are referred to as the models and icons of Christian life and Values for many Youth in the Parish because of their conduct exhibited in their co-operation between one another, respect for both superiors, elders and fellow youth, proper dress code and prayerfulness.
