Christmas Carols 2023

Christmas carols are religious songs or hymns particularly centred on Christmas. They are sung during or after the Christmastide to portray the Christmas message; what happened at Bethlehem at the time of Jesus’ birth. The songs and hymns are meant to help listeners to capture and reveal the joy from the spiritual nourishment of the environment of the birth of Jesus.

Our Parish was privileged to have Christmas Carols at the end of the Christmastide on January 10. The carols were organized by Kirowooza Students Association (KIROSA), a platform that unites all the school goers from secondary level to higher institutions of learning. The carols were presented by a beautiful choir comprised of the students. The Christian community was invited to attend at no cost. The choir staged at the main entrance of the Church building with the audience right in front. Among the guests was Fr. Vincent Lusembo the Parish priest, Fr. Morris Kayanja the Parochial vicar and Father In-Charge of Schools, religious sisters from Bwanda, parents of some of the students and members of the community. We look forward to a bigger event this year and the following years.
